I've never been to Unter; what should I expect?
In case you are unaware, Unter is an underground queer techno party. Expect a menagerie of gender-non-conforming lovelies and dazzling creatures of the night! If this description doesn't immediately titillate, perhaps this party isn't for you.

When you arrive you can expect close scrutiny at the door, entrance fees commensurate with our high levels of production and talent, slamming techno beats all night, fetish-wear bonanza, zero harassment, and total freedom of expression inside.

I've been to Unter. How is this party different?
The door will be a bit stricter than usual so don't even think about skimping on your look! This edition of Unter is a fetish-wear party where our guests are invited to express themselves with maximum freedom in regards to their choice of attire and consented engagements. A fetish-themed costume is a must!

I heard you can do whatever you want at this party; is this true?
Absolutely not! With great freedom comes great responsibility. We here at Unter are counting on you to behave with the utmost respect and understanding of the situation at hand! Therefore, you are free to behave only as far as the freedom of others or the safety and integrity of the space will allow.

Use your head and heart and treat others with consideration; violation of house rules will force us to eject you from the party and you will not be welcome back! Tradge.

Can I take photos of my friends posing in the space or video the event?
In consideration of our patrons' privacy, we encourage you to keep your phone in your pocket. Guest photography or video inside the venue is strictly prohibited!

Chris Phillips, co-founder of Pornceptual, will be taking select photo portraits; he will politely ask permission to do so. You may also ask him to take your photo; we will post a gallery after the jump so you may collect it.

Can I try opening doors that are clearly locked?
Doors are locked for a reason. For your own safety we ask you to respect the boundaries of the space.

Should I buy these expensive tickets now or wait?
If you haven't made up your mind about what you are going to wear, or if you're worried about being turned away at the door due to capacity, a pre-sale ticket may be the best way to put your mind at ease.

Am I guaranteed entry if I show up?
No. You may be turned away for a number of reasons ranging from capacity being filled to a nasty attitude at the door. To make things easy, bring a positive attitude, and make sure your look is on point!

What are the set times?
We usually do not releases set times, and for a reason. Come enjoy the entire evening we have meticulously organized for you!

What's going to happen at the door?
At this venue, we will not have the opportunity to let you change before being seen by the door, so when you meet our door guardians pls be prepared to show them your look - whether it's nude, over-the-top fetish, topless or just some latex - they need to see you, regardless of whether or not you have purchased a pre-sale ticket.

If you make it in, you will have the opportunity to undress/change into whatever look you have prepared later.

Some unsolicited advice: do not argue with the door, they haven't got the time of day for your whining! We ask you to please cooperate and make your way inside quickly, or you will be ejected forthright.

If you don't make it in, don't worry - there will be more parties soon. Quietly walk away and try another time.
